Books and Hygiene Items Collected During Donation Drive
The Gamma Theta Chapter hosted a donation drive to support the English Language Learner Book Drive at Phoebus High School and our Veterans at the Veteran's Hospital, where we collected 20+ books and packed over 100 hygiene bags for those in need. Thank you to the Hampton community for your help in donating!

Cans and Clothing Items Collected During Hurricane Melissa Drive
The Gamma Theta Chapter hosted a donation drive in effort to support Jamaica from the effects of Hurricane Melissa, in collaboration with Hampton University's USNDA Organization. At our Pearls & Pause Events, the chapter collected 200+ cans and 100+ clothing items to donate!
Holiday Cards and Donations
The Gamma Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, held a table at the University's 12-2 in the Student Center, where students had the opportunity to write holiday cards to bring joy to residents at a local nursing home and donate toiletry items to support Help Inc. and local shelters.
400 Cans Collected During Skee Week
The ladies of the Gamma Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, collected over 400 cans and non-perishable food items during our 2024 Skee Week! These items will be donated to the Four Oaks Day Service Center to support those in need across the Hampton Roads area.
MLK International Day of Service
The Gorgeous & Talented Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. purchased several books by black authors from Semicolon Bookstore & Gallery, a black-owned bookstore, to donate to young children in the Chicagoland area. These books also align with our sorority’s target
